Hello everyone
We would like to introduce ourselves to the CADJ community. We are the Primary 7 Film Club from Carlogie Primary School. We all live in Carnoustie, which is a small seaside town in Scotland.
My name is Amie. I’m 11 years old. My hobbies are ice skating, netball, and swimming. I joined the film club because I thought it would be fun to make a film. So far I’ve enjoyed learning about all the different kinds of shots. I’m looking forward to going to Paris and seeing all the films other young people have made.
My name is Sophie. My hobbies are drawing and writing. I joined film club because I love watching films and I thought it would be good to be part of one. So far I’ve enjoyed making sounds with all kinds of different materials. When I go to Paris I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s ideas for making a film and seeing the Eiffel Tower.
My name is Rachel. My hobbies are arts and crafts. I joined the Film Club because I love acting and making up stories. My favourite part of the Film Club so far is doing Exercise 3 with the GoPro. I’m looking forward to Paris because I think it will be fun to meet people from all over the world and hearing everyone’s languages.
My name is Findlay. I’m 11 years old. My hobbies are dancing and watching films. I joined the Film Club because I thought it would be fun to make a film. So far I’ve enjoyed filming outside, using the GoPro camera and making the Lumiere minutes and doing the other exercises. I’m looking forward to going to Paris and seeing everyone else’s films.
My name is Leena. My hobbies are swimming, laughing, and drawing. The reason I joined Film Club is that I enjoy acting and I’m really interested in making films. I’ve really doing the exercises as part of this project. I’m really excited about going to Paris and meeting lots of people from different countries.
My name is Katey. My hobbies are playing with my dogs, gymnastics, climbing trees and go-karting. I joined Film Club because I thought it would be fun. So far I’ve enjoyed the acting and role playing. I’m looking forward to going to Paris and showing our film to everyone.
My name is Lilly. My hobbies are wrestling and singing which I really enjoy doing. I joined the Film Club because I thought it would be fun to make a film with my friends. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s films in Paris and the day trip round the city.
My name is Grace. The reason I joined Film Club is because I thought it would be good to act in a movie. I’ve enjoyed Exercise 3 the most so far. I’m looking forward to going to Paris to meet other people and to see the Eiffel Tower.
My name is Emily. My hobbies are drawing and reading. I joined the Film Club to see what it would be like to make a movie. So far I’ve enjoyed taking the shots of the weather outside. I’m looking forward to going to Paris because we will meet different people and see our movie on the big screen.
My name is Darcie. I’m 11 years old. My hobbies are dancing and art. I joined Film Club because I thought it would be really nice to make a film. So far I’ve enjoyed being outside, taking shots of different weather. I’m looking forward to meeting other people in Paris.
My name is Emily. My hobbies are netball, swimming and singing. The reason I joined Film Club is because I really enjoy drama in class and I thought it would be fun to see the big cameras and other professional equipment and to make my own movie. So far I’ve enjoyed using the GoPro camera. I’ve always wanted to use one so it was really fun to go outside and do our scene for Exercise 3 in the forest with one. In Paris, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s movies and seeing the ideas they’ve come up with as well as going on the day trip and seeing the Eiffel Tower.
My name is Bradley. My hobbies are basketball and going to watch ice hockey. The reason I joined the Film Club was because I wanted to learn how to use the cameras and other equipment and how to make a film. I’m not able to go to Paris with the Film Club because the trip clashes with my family holiday. However I am looking forward to seeing our film on the big screen in Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh International Film Festival. I’m really sorry I won’t get to meet any of you in Paris but I am looking forward to seeing your films on the blog.
