Nuestra escuela está en la localidad de Fontana, en la provincia del Chaco, al nordeste de Argentina. En el barrio le decimos La Bilingüe porque además del Castellano hablamos y aprendemos Qom, idioma nativo, prehispánico.
Notre école se situe dans la localité de Fontana, dans la Province de Chaco, au Nord-Est de l’Argentine. Dans le quartier nous l’appelons La Bilingue car en plus de l’espagnol nous parlons et apprenons le QOM, une langue native préhispanique.
Our school is located in the town of Fontana, in the province of Chaco, northeast of Argentina. In the neighborhood we call it La Bilingüe because, in addition to the Spanish, we speak and learn Qom, a native language, pre-Hispanic.
Les contaremos cómo es nuestra escuela: tiene tres niveles educativos y una escuela de oficios. El nivel inicial, que funciona mañana y tarde, tiene una sala maternal donde las estudiantes y algunos docentes que tienen bebés pueden dejarlos para estudiar o trabajar. El nivel primario funciona a la mañana. A la tarde, los que somos del nivel secundario, convivimos con los niños del nivel inicial y con los estudiantes de la escuela de oficios, que son adultos que aprenden Cocina, Panadería, Soldadura y Herrería, Costura, Pintura de Obra, Albañilería, Informática, Serigrafía y Electricidad.
Nous allons vous raconter à quoi ressemble notre école: elle a trois niveaux éducatifs et une école de métiers. Le niveau initial, qui fonctionne le matin et l’après-midi, possède une salle maternelle où les étudiants et certains profs peuvent laisser leurs enfants pendant qu’ils étudient où qu’ils travaillent. Le niveau primaire fonctionne le matin. L’après-midi, nous qui sommes au collège et lycée cohabitons avec les enfants du niveau initial et les étudiants de l’école des métiers, des adultes qui apprennent la cuisine, la boulange, la soudure et la ferronnerie, la couture, la peinture en bâtiment, la maçonnerie, l’informatique, la sérigraphie et l’électricité.
We will tell you how Is our school: it has three levels of education and a vocational school. The initial level works morning and afternoon, has a maternity room where the students and some teachers who have babies can leave them to study or work. The primary level works in the morning. In the afternoon, those of us from the secondary level cohabit with the children of the initial level and also with students of the vocational school, adults who learn Cooking, Cooking, Bakery, Welding and Blacksmithing, Sewing, painting in building, Masonry, Computing, Screen Printing and Electricity.
En La Bilingüe compartimos el almuerzo, la merienda y un refuerzo porque salimos tarde, algunos días a la noche. La escuela tiene como prioridad incluir a toda la comunidad, pero en particular a los que somos de bajos recursos. Todos venimos de barrios cercanos y somos qom o criollos o mestizos.
A La Bilingue, nous partageons le déjeuner, le goûter et un snack car nous sortons tard, parfois même la nuit. La priorité de l’école est l’intégration de toute la communauté, mais particulièrement de ceux qui ont peu de ressources. Nous venons tous de quartiers proches et nous sommes qom ou criollos (créoles) ou métisses.
At La Bilingue we share lunch, afternoon tea and a snack because we go out late, sometimes even at night. The priority of the school is the integration of the entire community, but especially of those who have few resources. We all come from nearby neighborhoods and we are qom or criollos (creoles) or mestizos.
Detrás de nuestra escuela hay una laguna que se llama Fortini. Los abuelos qom cuentan muchas historias sobre seres mitológicos que habitan ese lugar. Muchas veces nos juntamos ahí a tomar unos mates o tererés.
Derrière notre école, il y a une lagune appelée Fortini. Les grands-parents qom content beaucoup d’histoires sur des êtres mythologiques qui habitent à cet endroit. Nous y allons souvent ensemble pour boire du mate ou du terere.
Behind our school there is a lagoon called Fortini. Qom grandparents tell many stories about mythological beings that inhabit that place. Many times we get together there to drink some mates or tererés.
El barrio qom más cercano a la escuela se llama Cacique Pelayo y está divido en tres sectores: uno, dos y tres. Tiene un Centro de Salud, ubicado en el sector dos, y al lado se encuentra el Centro Comunitario que hace muy poco recibió el nombre de Cacique Moreno, abuelo de la comunidad y actual cacique.
Le barrio qom le plus proche de l’école s’appelle Cacique Pelayo, il est divisé en trois secteurs: secteur un, secteur deux et secteur trois. Il a un Centre de Santé situé dans le secteur 2, et à côté il y a un Centre Communautaire qui a reçu le nom de Cacique Moreno il y a peu. C’est le nom du grand-père de la communauté, qui est aussi le Cacique actuel.
The qom neighborhood closest to the school is called Cacique Pelayo and is divided into three sectors: one, two and three. It has a Health Center, located in sector two, and next to it is the Community Center that recently received the name of Cacique Moreno, grandfather of the community and current cacique.
